В пятницу, 26 июля, в Париже церемонией открытия официально стартуют XXXIII летние Олимпийские игры-2024.
Впервые в истории церемония открытия Игр пройдет не на стадионе, а на реке Сена. 205 команд пройдут по ней шесть километров на 96 кораблях от центра города к Эйфелевой башне.
На маршруте возле реки будут размещены 100 тысяч болельщиков. Реку еще до начала Игр регулярно проверяют водолазы, спецназ на катерах, а окрестности – антитеррористические группы. На время церемонии столичные аэропорты будут закрыты, а бесполетная зона будет иметь радиус 150 километров.
Это позволит минимизировать риски атаки дронов, а также действий исламистов, которые считаются главной угрозой.
Также сообщается, что на церемонии выступят канадская певица Селин Дион и американка Леди Гага, а украинскими знаменосцами будут титулованная теннисистка Элина Свитолина и пловец Михаил Романчук.
